Minions Movie Date

July 25, 2015 0 Comments
Last Sunday, my mother-in-law treated us for a movie date. We watched minions since we have kids who requested for it and thinks that they will enjoy it. My kids loves to sing the Banana Song.
It was the second time my baby watched a movie in big screen. Her first time was when we watched "The Breakup Playlist" starring Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo because we can't leave her alone at home so we asked if the baby can go inside the movie house. She can watch also but with pay, too. Same payment with the adults.
I knew it, she didn't stay sitted. She roamed around, walking, eating snacks, up and down the stairs. But this time, I was happy knowing that my kids were enjoying the movie. They remained sitted at their chair, eating popcorn and all eyes at the screen.
This photo was taken after the movie at Robinsons Place Malolos.

What can I say about the movie? Well, I can say that it was fun and entertaining. I love it and I feel young watching this 3D animated family comedy film. This small, yellow pill-shaped creatures was eye catching, so cute and adorable. They were weird looking but they acted like people, with good heart and they can serve well.
The movie was all about searching for their new cruel Master who they will serve with. They find great masters like a caveman, dracula and T. Rex but they accidentally kill nearly all of them. They decided to start a new life but lack of a master drives them into depression.
Kevin, Bob and Stuart volunteered to find a villainous one. They travel to the city and the journey begins.

I won't be giving a lot of details so that you'll find out all when you watch the movie. I tell you, this movie is great. It is still showing at the cinemas.

My Queen asked for a minion toy after the movie. We found a rubber, noisy and lightning eye minions in a stall inside the mall. I bought one for Queen and mommy bought one for baby Aqui. It should be two to avoid them fighting over the toy. They surely wants to play with it so we need to buy them both.

Best Way to Teach Kids to Read

July 11, 2015 0 Comments

Best Way to Teach Kids to Read
What's the best way to teach children to read? According to the National Reading Panel, "teaching children to manipulate phonemes in words was highly effective under a variety of teaching conditions with a variety of learners across a range of grade and age levels and that teaching phonemic awareness to children significantly improves their reading more than instruction that lacks any attention to Phonemic Awareness.[1] This is a statement made by the National Reading Panel (NRP) in their report titled "TEACHING CHILDREN TO READ: An Evidence-Based Assessment of the Scientific Research Literature on Reading and Its Implications for Reading Instruction."

Phonemic Awareness instruction was selected for review by the NRP in their report because studies have identified phonemic awareness and letter knowledge as two of the best predictors of how well children will learn to read in their first 2 years of entering school. There is strong Scientific evidence to suggest that phonemic awareness instructions are an important part in helping children develop reading skills.

One study discussed the presence of phonemic awareness in Austrian children aged 6 to 7 that were unable to read when first entering school. This study found that many children had not one correct response in their test of a simple vowel substitution task. However, a few children who exhibited high phonemic awareness scored close to perfect on this same task. The study further stated that "there was a specific predictive relationship between initial phonemic awareness differences and success in learning to read and to spell." Even more importantly, the study indicated that it was phonemic awareness abilities, and not IQ, that predicted the accuracy of reading and spelling at the end of grade one. Children with high phonemic awareness at the beginning of grade one had high reading and spelling achievements at the end of grade one, compared to some children with low phonemic awareness who had difficulties learning to read and spell. [2]

In the National Reading Panel report, they also determined that the beneficial effects of phonemic awareness on reading lasts well beyond the period of training. While phonemic awareness instructions are proven to significantly help children learn reading, it is not a complete reading program. What it does, is provide children with a foundational knowledge base of the alphabet language. The NRP analysis also showed that phonics instructions produces significant benefits for students from kindergarten through grade 6, and is also helpful for children with learning to read difficulties.

Children who are taught with phonics and phonemic awareness instructions are consistently able to decode, read, and spell, and even demonstrated significant improvement in their ability to comprehend text. Even older children who receive these similar teachings improved their ability to decode and spell. The NRP made a key statement saying that "conventional wisdom has suggested that kindergarten students might not be ready for phonics instruction, this assumption was not supported by the data. The effects of systematic early phonics instruction were significant and substantial in kindergarten and the 1st grade, indicating that systematic phonics programs should be implemented at those age and grade levels."

However, I would like to further expand on that by saying that children as young as two years old can learn to read through phonics and phonemic awareness instructions. If a young child can speak, then they should be able to learn to read, even if they are as young as two years old. In fact, I have proven this with my own children. We started teaching our daughter at 2 years and 8months, and she was very capable at reading by the time she was just 2 years and 11 months old.

July 09, 2015 0 Comments

When you think about getting pregnant, you must assume that getting pregnant is just a matter of time and nothing we should do to get pregnant but sexual intercourse. Moreover, many women in the world get pregnant every day and have a chance to hold their own baby – so it is not a problem. Well, actually it is not as simple as you think, there is actually a lot more that goes into getting pregnant and having a baby. And, there are thousands of sites out there on the web that try to make some money off of women who want to get pregnant by promising that they will get pregnant if they use their method or their herbs or the like.
But you must know, the Getting Pregnant Plan is not one of those sites.

In the Getting Pregnant Plan, the writer claims that her book will definitely get you pregnant by only doing particular things. It actually takes you through the whole process of getting pregnant (yes, there is a process). It starts with the basics, such as diet and exercise, fertility treatments and deal with miscarriage – causes, treatment and healing.

You have to know that there are numbers of factor that can influence whether you will get pregnant or not and how healthy you will be during the pregnancy. In the Getting Pregnant Plan, you will find several different tips on changing your diet and exercise routine to help you be as healthy as possible before, during, and after you conceive a baby to help make pregnancy easier on you, and also the baby. The writer goes through some of the best foods that you can eat and which ones you should avoid, including some types of salads, to help balance in getting the most nutrients and vitamins out of the foods you eat.

While there are certain sections in this e-book that you can find on the web easily, such as how to predict your ovulation cycle and how age effects getting pregnant, these parts are still very well written and you can learn a lot from them as well. Readers will find that all of the sections of this e-book are well written and well researched to provide the best information that you can get on getting pregnant.

To women who are attempting to get pregnant, I would recommend The Getting Pregnant Plan to you as an amazing guide to follow during the process. So, I am going to give this guide 5 stars from 5 since it is a solid read that doesn't make any false claims. My Little Princess

July 07, 2015 0 Comments

Hi guys! It's been so long that I haven't share some things about me or the people around me. I think after I resigned from my previous employer as an accounting staff and became a telemarketer at home for three months, since then I've been MIA and busy taking care of the kids. My husband and I have been jobless for three months and thanks God, my in laws supported us until his father helped him to work abroad. He went abroad last April, 2012 and before he left us, I told him that I was delayed. And we thought that it was really meant for him to go abroad for our bright future. After he left, I went to my OB for confirmation and yes, I was pregnant for exactly two months. It was indeed a big BLESSING! Here's our little angel, we named her Princess Aquisha.

Our little princess is now one year and seven months.  She is now exploring and very active. She is more than her eldest sister. More like she is talkative even we can't understand what she's saying, messy as in throwing the toys anywhere, bitchiness always comes around, she shouts and fight with her sister at her young age.
I gave birth last November 12, 2013 via Caesarean section. I personally chose the date because I want her to have the same birth number with mine. My pregnancy was as good as always just like my first. No complications at all. I didn't have morning sickness, it was really normal. But there were times that I feel dizzy and going to collapse when I was in a public place with lots of people around me such as church and market.

I regularly went to my OB for monthly check-up and took all my vitamins for my baby's good health and development. It was hard to be alone while you're pregnant and you're taking care of a stubborn kid at the same time. My Queen have been my source of happiness as time goes by, my headaches at times and my stress reliever when I feel so lonely because my husband was far away from us.
It doubles the joy when the baby came out and it also doubles the stress but it was all worth it. I never thought that I will be a mother of these two beautiful babies.

Motherhood really teaches me a lot. It's an everyday learning. I learned that that I need to be more patience in all times and love them deeply. Give them all the care they need and understand them in anyways. Keep them safe and sound. Teach them well and play with them. To sum it all, I want the best for them. The best that I haven't experience when I was a child.

Ok, I'll continue the drama for another post. 😉😁
Thank you guys for visiting and reading my dramas.;)

Coconut Secret: 9 Reasons to Use Coconut Oil

According to studies and sayings, coconut is a sources of vitamins, minerals and so called a healing tree. It was referred to as "the tree of life". The coconut tree and its fruit gives a lot of benefits to all the people specially to those who make it as their source of income. Some of them use the trunk to build houses, the leaves use to do crafts or decors, the coconut husk used to clean or sweep the floor of the house, the coconut shells used for decors and the fruit with coconut juice use for refreshment as well as source of healing for certain illness. And I will never forget to mention that coconut can give us oil that can also help us in some reasons.

Coconut oil - a saturated fat - is chock-full of health-promoting properties - and is in no way responsible for high cholesterol, obesity, heart disease and the bad effects you've been led to believe.

Some Filipinos use coconut oil for traditional massage, usually for sprain or for relaxation. Some people use coconut oil for skin beautification.
But did we all know that coconut oil has nine reasons for us to use it?
Let me share it with you. I have found those reasons that The Alternative Daily site wants us to know.
1. Coconut Oil Contains the Healthiest Substance on Earth - It's no secret breast feeding is about the best thing a mother can do to boost her child's immune system. What makes mother's milk so healthy is that it contains high amounts of lauric acid.
Outside of mother's milk there are only three dietary sources of lauric acid - and coconut oil is the most concentrated of the three!
2. Coconut Oil Fuels Your Metabolisms - Researchers have discovered that in cultures where unrefined coconut oil is a part of the everyday diet, there is less obesity and less lifestyle-related disease.
Unfortunately, very little coconut oil is consumed in the U.S. and metabolic syndrome—along with its symptoms of obesity, diabetes and heart disease—is reaching epidemic proportions!

3. Coconut Oil Boost Your Thyroid - Most of the oils that we use to cook food and those used in commercially-prepared foods also have a negative affect on the thyroid. These are known as polyunsaturated or vegetable oils. They may in fact be the worst villains in the spread of thyroid diseases.
Is coconut oil a thyroid cure? Not by itself. Can it help people with low thyroid function? Yes, because it stimulates metabolism and boosts energy. For this reason, coconut oil has been a blessing to many people who have been able to abandon their medications with the right combination of exercise, removal of processed foods, and a balanced diet.

4.Coconut Oil Protects and Beautifies Your Skin!- Coconut oil is a naturally moisturizing cleanser—and an effective sunscreen, blocking out 20 percent of harmful rays… thanks to the medium-chain fatty acids that protect and heal the skin at the same time.

5. Coconut Oil Can Save Your Brain - Alzheimer’s is on the rise—but you can do something now to protect your brain from the devastating effects of this savage disease!
How? By helping your body produce ketones—an alternative energy source for your brain! When MCTs—medium chain triglicerides—are metabolized by the body, ketones are created.
Just where can you find MCTs? In coconut oil, of course!

6. Coconut Oil Fights Cancer - Don’t be terrified by cancer anymore! Because researchers have discovered it’s possible to actually “starve” cancer cells—and this pro-active defense leaves the body more able to fight the disease than being assaulted with chemotherapy!
The alternative fuel your body can thrive on, but starves cancer cells—found in abundance in coconut oil!
Find out more here.
7. Coconut Oil is the Ultimate Detox! - Coconut oil has amazing detox abilities and bolsters your energy during a detox program!

8. Coconut Oil is Amazing for Heart Health! - Heart disease is a scary disease often treated with even scarier drugs—like statins! Statins (cholesterol lowering drugs) deplete the body of vital heart-nourishing nutrients and can do more harm than good!
Coconut oil is full of heart-healing benefits and can help prevent the need for such drugs—and even help keep you from getting sick in the first place!

9. Coconut Oil Makes Yeast Yield to
Its Health-Promoting Powers! - Everyone has a small amount of yeast living in their mouth and intestines. It serves an important role when it comes to digestion and nutrient absorption, but when it overpopulates—watch out!
It actually breaks down the walls of the intestines and seeps into the bloodstream, where it releases toxins. This leakage can cause a number of health conditions!
In fact, more people have illnesses related to yeast, or Candida, than realize… maybe you’re one of them.

The 3 Week Diet - How to Lose Weight

July 04, 2015 0 Comments

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.**

An article From the Diet's Creator:

If you have ever watched any of those health related TV shows like ‘Dr. Oz’ or ‘The Doctors’, you would get the impression that it’s extremely difficult to lose weight fast. They’ll tell you that it can take month after month to shed the pounds, and sometimes even years. But I’m here today to tell you that that is simple not true.

My name is Brian and I am the creator of The 3 Week Diet. I have spent years researching and working with nutritionists and dieticians to develop a diet system that is so advanced and effective that it is able to help you lose 1 lb of pure body fat every single day. Over the course of 3 weeks on the diet, you can lose more than 20 pounds of fat off your belly, butt, hips, and thighs and achieve the body of your dreams with little to no exercise involved. But how is this possible?

As you would know, the human body is highly adaptable. If you cut your finger, the body would heal itself in a matter of days – regenerating new cells as soon as the change is noticed. Well, if you make a big enough change to your diet, the body can adapt right away too by burning fat in your body at a rapid speed. But what you need to do to kick start this change? Is it exercise? Cutting certain foods out of your diet? Drinking a special tea? Eating certain berries? No, it is none of those things. In fact, it is much more simple than you’d think.

You see, the human metabolism is like a furnace for your body. It burns up every source of fuel inside your body – from food you have eaten, to fat that has been stored. But, one thing you have to know about the metabolism is that it will burn what was last eaten first, before it starts burning the fat on your body. As a result, by the end of the day, no matter what you have eaten, your body won’t have had time to start burning the fat from around your body. But what if you could change this? What if you could make it so your metabolism actually prefers to burn the fat in your body first, and then burns the food you have eaten?

Think about a campfire. What would happen if you poured a gallon of gasoline onto the fire? It would go up in flames and burn a thousand times more! Well, fat is a fuel source just like gasoline. If your metabolism gets that fat from your body and starts burning it, it makes the metabolism even stronger and more powerful, so it continues to burn even more fat in the process. You see, it is like a cyclic effect. The more fat your metabolism burns, the more fuel it will have to burn, and in turn it will burn even more fat! So what do you do to get this started?

To make the switch so that your metabolism starts burning body fat first, you need to include some very specific foods into your diet. This doesn’t mean you have to restrict yourself to eating certain types of foods like ‘low carb’ or ‘high protein’, but it just means you need to add some secret foods to your current diet. These foods are quite unknown, but they contain metabolism-shifting properties that initiate the fat burning process. You can get all these foods at your local supermarket and they won’t cost you any more than a candy bar. Plus, they don’t taste bad either!

I have made a list and plan of all these foods on my website at The 3 Week Diet. I explain how each of them works, and how much fat they are able to melt. Keep in mind, this is all based off years of scientific research and there is medical data to back this up. So, if you are looking to lose weight fast, The 3 Week Diet is the best way to do so. No other diet allows you to lose this much fat as quickly, and lets you keep it off for good.

Check out The 3 Week Diet today and start losing weight!
