Being a mom has made me so tired and so happy at the same time. Day by day, when I started to become a wife, I need to learn a lot - household chores most especially.
Aside from the fact that you have to serve your husband, be a good wife and be good to those people you are living with like your in-laws if not yet living on your own.
As I have said, learning to do household chores is important to keep the house running and be a good place to live with your family. If you decided to stay at home and be a full-time mom, your husband is working and your kids are not yet able to help you, it's all in your hands to do the chores. Chores that can be done daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly.
Here are the top on the list that a mom always does at home for the daily and weekly basis:
1. Cooking or Preparing Meals - This is an everyday task a mom should do. If you can't cook, how will you feed your family? The tendency is you'll order at the fast food or restaurant which will cost a lot. So as a mom and a wife, you should learn to cook and give what's best for the family, a healthy and clean food.
2. Doing Laundry - Washing of clothes and other things like sheets to be washed can be done weekly. You have to do this mom to let your family wear clean and fragrant clothes. To keep your family tidy at all times. But sometimes, you need to do this daily if you have a baby or kid who makes stains such as poop or chocolate that needs to be washed as soon as possible.
3. Washing The Dishes - It is also a daily task after the meal. If you eat three times a day or more, that's when you do the washing or later when the kids are already sleeping.
4. Cleaning the bathroom - For family's hygiene and comfort, cleaning the bathroom every day is a must. Giving it a proper cleaning requires you a lot of determination and courage. That's for your family's health, to keep them away from illnesses that one can get at the bathroom. It is also your place to be when you need to escape from all the stress.:)
5. Sewing Clothes - This isn't about making clothes but to sew those hole or lose shreds in your clothes. By using your own hands, you need to use thread and needle to repair the clothes. If you have kids, their scattered toys everywhere is also another mommy duty.
The most important thing is that do your best as a mom and wife, even if you can't do it on time and most of the time, just be yourself. No one is perfect. Feel better about yourself and your home when you avoid thinking about what you have not done. You'll soon get all things done.
