Quit Smoking, Try Snus. What is Snus?

So many reasons people use when they say they want to quit smoking and some people mean it but many people have yet to find the reason that will motivate them to finally quit smoking once and for all.

There is acupuncture, meditation, hypnosis, over the counter drugs, prescribed drugs by a physician, nicotine replacements like nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lollipops (can you imagine?), lozenges and pouches that contain nicotine, herbal supplements and the old fashioned cold turkey method.
Did you know there is another way?
According to Wikipedia, Snus is a moist powder smokeless tobacco product originating from a variant of dry snuff in early 18th-century Sweden. It is placed in the upper lip for extended periods. Snus is not fermented. Although used similarly to American dipping tobacco, snus does not typically result in the need for spitting, and, unlike naswar, snus is steam-pasteurized.

Sale of snus is illegal in all the European Union countries except for Sweden. It is also the most common form of tobacco in Norway. Some EU countries like Estonia allow the sale of snus-like products that contain nicotine but no tobacco. Local varieties of snus, growing in popularity in the United States, have been seen as an alternative to smoking, vaping, e-smoking, chewing, dipping, dissolvable and snuff tobacco. However, US-manufactured snus does not have the same production standards or ingredients as Swedish snus, and typically uses significant amounts of sweeteners.

Snus can be bought online and you may check it at Nearestsnus.com where you can buy
Snus pouches. They are flavored (or unflavored depending on your preference) tobacco pouches that you place under your upper lip. Once in position, the snus discretely releases the tobacco within, providing the user with the same nicotine buzz as other methods, but without any of the unpleasant side effects associated with something like smoking.
