It's been a year since the pandemic happened. The whole world was affected and advised to stay at home to prevent getting infected by the deadly virus. I am a stay-at-home mom and I thought that I can handle it. No, I was wrong. Being at home 24/7 with kids doubles the stress and gives me a lot of thinking.
Yes, I get to watch them grow and bond with them but I can't see that I was able to deliver the proper knowledge they supposedly get at school. They were so lazy when it comes to modules. But as a mom, I am doing my best. I really wanted to go back to working at the office, work from home, or doing some business to earn money while watching over my kids but it's kind of hard by now because of the pandemic and maybe I should give a lot of effort. But thanks to blogging and social media, I was able to earn some and entertain myself. It also helps to keep me sane during these trying times.
Aside from blogging or vlogging (because I am also creating videos), let's go back to the main topic, how are we going to reduce stress and how to entertain ourselves at home?
First, get a good book and read it.
Believe me, it works very well! A good book can energize you, fuel you with positive thoughts and keep you stay on track with what you're doing. It can encourage the kids to read books, too. I always told them to love books because they can get a lot of learning.
Second, Experiment with a new recipe or learn to cook and bake with your kids or other members of the family. It's a great bonding moment that you will cook or bake the food you want to eat. Have fun in the kitchen.
Third, it's time to do a Deep Cleaning of the house. Deep cleaning is a more intensive procedure that cleans such areas like the living room and study, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, balcony, garden, and corners of the house that you would never have imagined require that thorough scrubbing. That way, your mind, and body are busy. No negative thoughts but only the things that you want to get done for your home. You may ask your family to help and finish the household chores.
It is always up to a parent how much time they allow their children to spend playing online games. It is good to balance their game time with other activities, but playing online games does have its benefits too.
Playing Online Games can actually help kids advance in the real world. If you are looking to find games for you and your kids to play online, try the new website play free online games.
This is a modern remake of the classic game snake. Players can choose between three different difficulty modes.
- Collect coins while avoiding running into yourself.
- As you eat coins your snake grows longer.
- The playing field on this game wraps.
Use the direction keys on your mouse to move your snake to eat coins without running into itself.
Game Controls
- Use a touchscreen or the direction keys on your keyboard to control your snake.
- This game has no pause, so if your snake is longer than the playing field is wide you will be in a bit of trouble.
- This game does not have set levels but has three different difficulty modes: easy, normal, and hard.
- On easier difficulty modes your snake moves slower and only slowly adds to its length as it eats coins. On hard mode, the snake moves much faster and grows 3 units in length for each coin it eats.
- If you have never played snake before you might want to try playing on easy.
- If you have played before and were ok at it you might want to try medium.
- If you were great at the game try-hard mode.
- This game does not have walls or edges but instead wraps.
- The game is wider than it is tall, so as you grow longer it can make sense to approach things from the side rather than from above or below.
- Making sharp turns is risky, so ideally you can turn in advance and align your snake at least a few blocks before getting to the coin.
- If your snake is on hard mode and the snake is quite long you can go back and forth moving a line or two up or down on the opposing side of the screen to use up much of your length to give yourself more flexibility when approaching the coin.
